Whispering Pines

Whispering Pines is an analog horror experience set in a dense, fog-shrouded forest where an ancient, nightmarish creature hunts those who dare to enter. As a firewatch worker stranded with a broken radio, you must scour the eerie landscape to find essential items and repair the radio to call for help. But beware—the monstrous entity is always lurking, and one wrong move could be your last. With limited resources and only the environment to protect you, survival hinges on your ability to stay one step ahead of the terror in the mist.

I’ve decided to discontinue development on "Whispering Pines" due to a critical issue with the monster's AI.  While the game itself is playable and beatable, my attempt at coding the AI didn’t go as planned, and fixing it would require starting from scratch. Rather than reworking the entire system, I’ve chosen to leave this project unfinished and take it as a valuable learning experience. Throughout this process, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about 3D game development and coding, which I’ll carry forward into future projects. Thank you for your interest and understanding.
